What's your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the instrument and whether it's a stock item or a custom OEM piece. Stock instruments usually start lower than custom ones, since custom pieces need tooling and setup time that only makes sense at higher volumes. Tell us the instrument and rough quantity you're considering and we'll give you a straight answer rather than a general range.
How long does an order take to produce?
Stock items already in production ship faster than a first-time custom order, which needs a sample approved before we run the full batch. Budget more time for your first order with us than for repeat orders. Once we have your specs on file, the process moves quicker.
Can you manufacture to our own drawing or reference sample?
Yes, this is most of what we do. Send us a drawing, technical spec, or a physical sample you want matched, and we'll quote based on what you send. We usually recommend a sample run first so you can check dimensions and finish before committing to a full order.
Do you offer private label or custom branding?
Yes. We laser mark your logo onto the instrument and pack it in your own branding rather than ours. If you don't have packaging designed yet, we can work with you on that too.
What material are your instruments made from?
Surgical-grade stainless steel for most of the catalog, with a few exceptions such as titanium or tungsten carbide on specific instruments where that material is standard practice, rib retractors and wire cutters for example. The material for each product is listed on its product page.
Are your instruments autoclavable?
Yes. Our instruments are built to withstand repeated autoclave sterilization cycles without pitting or losing their finish.
Do you send samples before a bulk order?
Yes, and we'd recommend it, especially for a first order or anything custom. It's a lot cheaper to catch a sizing or finish issue on one sample than on a full container.
What certifications do you currently hold?
We don't have third-party certification paperwork like ISO 13485 on file at the moment. What we do have is an internal multi-stage inspection process that every batch goes through before it ships. If your import requirements need specific certification documentation, raise it with us before you order so we can tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
Do you ship internationally, and who handles the paperwork?
Yes, we export worldwide and prepare the shipping documentation on our end. Tell us the destination country when you request a quote and we'll flag anything specific to that market ahead of time rather than after the order ships.
What are your payment terms?
This varies by order size and whether it is a new or repeat buyer. Ask us directly when you request a quote and we will lay out the options for your specific order.
Can you customize sizes, finishes or packaging?
Within reason, yes. Length, finish (satin vs. mirror polish) and packaging can usually be adjusted. Tell us what you need changed from the standard listing and we'll confirm whether it's something we can do and what it costs.
